DOMAINE BELLEGARDE
Produced on 1150 ha of vines planted on the most beautiful plots, facing the grandiose chain of the Pyrenees, Jurançon wine draws its history from the Middle Ages.

From the acquisition of Domaine de Bellegarde in 1920 by Gratien Labasse, the vine made its appearance. After studying oenology and viticulture in the Bordeaux region, his grandson Pascal took over the property in 1985. He then chose to proceed with the vinification of his wine and the bottling. The creation of the cellars in 1986 allowed him to shape his own style. Meticulous work in the vines, modern winemaking methods combined with respect for the image of Jurançon preserves the fruit of the wines while consolidating their substance and their fat. This results in wines that can be drunk fairly quickly but also capable of aging. Thibault Labasse, the last of the family, in viti-oeno training, is the next generation of the domain.

The vines now cover 14 hectares with 10 hectares of Petit Manseng, 3 hectares of Gros Manseng and 1 hectare of Camaralet, each of them bringing their own touch of originality.
The Labasse family will gladly welcome you to the cellar for a tasting of their wines.
