DOMAINE DE CORPS DE LOUP
South of Lyon, overlooking the Rhône valley, it is on difficult slopes that the wines of Domaine de Corps de Loup are born. It is said that the last wolf in the region was killed here, hence the name of the locality. It was in 1720 that the castle and its park appeared on the hillside. Since arriving at Corps de Loup in 1991, the Daubrée Family has been fully committed to reviving the estate. For more than 25 years now, they have been making wines together with passion, in the search for finesse and balance for a wine representative of its terroir and its vintage.

The vineyard covers almost 9 hectares, almost in one piece. Cultural practices are carried out in such a way as to limit inputs to what is strictly necessary. The choice of organic products is favored and the use of pesticides is ruled out. Imposed by the typology of the land, the work on the estate is carried out entirely by hand. Still with a view to respecting the environment, photovoltaic panels have been installed which tends to make the property self-sufficient in electricity.

The vinification is traditional, and the prolonged fermentations are ensured by indigenous yeasts. The wines are aged in the original cellar of the estate. This cellar, which dates from the end of the 15th century, benefits from a constant temperature and good humidity thanks to the infiltrations that ooze along the rocks.
A Syrah conservatory has been set up in Corps de Loup in order to preserve the genetic heritage developed by this type of vine in Côte-Rôtie.
