Domaine Romanissa stands in the town of Ribaute, a small village in Corbières, between Narbonne and Carcassonne. In Latin, “Romanissat” means “space of scrubland where rosemary is king”. The landscape of the estate reflects its name well, as it offers a breathtaking view of an olive grove of 200 trees of different varieties and plots of aromatic plants.

Marie-Paule Roux cultivates her 40 hectares of vines organically. The clay-limestone and stony soils of the estate are located on the hillsides and benefit from ideal sunshine. At Domaine Romanissa, the representative grape varieties of the region such as Carignan, Grenache, Cinsault or even Marselan for the reds, and Bourboulenc and Muscat à petits grains for the whites reveal all their aromas.

At the property, you can also rest in the two lodgings provided by Marie-Paule and have a pleasant stay.
